Hey all!! Dis is gonna be de last post b4 5Faith breaks up... :'( First of all we had to clean up de class which took us abt 1 hour to do.... Den, while waiting for our PIZZA AND KFC to come.... We set-up de party food first.... And wen de pizza came we ate dat first cuz de KFC a bit late.... But obviously de boys ate more den us girls... XP After de party, we had to clean it up den MK gave us a little speech abt next year and how our race is not over yet and watever else laa.... Den i said dat he shld stop cuz i wanna cry oredi... Den wen MK told us to take our bags and go for chapel, Shanice cried den de girls comforted her den me and siti oso cry den JY cry a lil bit but not so obvious.... Den i heard from JY after chapel most of de girls cried... :'( Dats abt it, so PLS STAY IN TOUCH WITH EACH OTHER!!!!

Hi and bye 5faith09!!!!　=( haiz... felt that tis year ended fast! So we had party today. A really BIG one! Hmmm so ppl bought drinks, food, tibits and candies. And MK ordered pizza while choxo, mandy, kaiting and fangzhu ordered pizza =) Errr... so the class was very berrry, belly generous to donate us money! Guess hwo much we've got? 10?nono... 50? no!!!! Haha. we got $5+ at first. then we set higher targets for ourselves wif the amount of $10 then $30 then $50 then %60 then we added up me, mandy, kaiting and fangzhu's money, gave us a amount of $134 in a total! Surprised right? Our class so sweet!!! SOB SOB!!! Dun wan this year to end fast. I hav been looking forward to everyday's lesson. Filled wif excitment. <-- this kind of lessons aregreat as in helps us to gain intrest and be curious. In that way, we will be able to learn moer things that we dun learn from the textbooks! That makes Mk, Miss low a very, berry, belly great teacher! Of cus, wif the 40 other angels' coperation, i THINK they enjoy teaching us la... haha this shld b the longest post liao le. I will continue to update the blog if possible!

Our day has finally came!

Hie!! hAPPY CHILDREN DAY TO ALL OF U AND ME :D Today is our day right? Definetly yes! LOLS! OK now i am doing my science hot workshhet :( SO how was the concert? the p5teachers were funny! ESP MK! Hey all!!! Woah,2day so damn fun!!De P5 teachers put up a "commercial break" video... [It shld be de best out of de 3 vids. XP] It was so damn funny! And de best part was dat MK was in it!!!!! He acted de "Tiger Beer" and "Cadbury"... De tiger beer one MK was screaming because he was playing Maple?!?! And de Cadbury one.... is de eyebrow thing....[LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL] After de concert dere was one period of SS but none of ur broughtb SS things so... we nvr do anything... Den we had our recess which was wen MK was dunked!!! [Haha..]Mr Chua,MK,Mr Chew,Mr Goh and Mr Soo were dunked!!!Den after recess,MK,Mr Chew and Mr Soo were all wet and walking barefoot!![Haha..] Den wen MK came bk he gave us our presents and we can go oredi.... Hii. Dun tink anyone is reading this post heehee. Maybe when the counsillors are back they can take a look. Urm today we had our PE playing hockey and took nafa. Urm and then we learnt how to draw human faces during art lesson and learnt beat-boxing during music lesson. IT WAS GREAT! Dear 5faith,

RE: Today's post. [Dun have much informatiton so is abit informal]

Today, we have learnt how to write an informal letter. So this is for today's post format. Is abit weird I know... Cannot use shortcus already. Actually we have learnt it yesterday, but did more today.

Mr Khoo discussed with our class if we want to change seats. Quite a number of pupils raised up their hands at first but after hearing that we are going to seat in register number, alot of people changed their minds... So Mr Khoo said that he will appoint us our seats and everyone was like oh my goodness and regreted I guess. Hopefully Mr Khoo will not change it.

Today we watched a "brain-pop" video after writting our formal letters during supplementry. Since we have a little bit of time left, Mr Khoo allowed us to choose any topic to watch the video. Alot of boys choose Social Studies but upon hearing that it was nothing related to Singapore, some of them changed their minds. But Miss Lee was just in time for us to start our math supplementry.

I will be looking forward for tomorrow lessons!

Hey all!!2day we won the "*Well-kept Class Award*".[Woots woots!!]Congratz to our class... :D And 2day we were suppose to hand-up all de hw dat we did during the past 4 days and sumone did not hand-up all 4...[u ppl shld knoe]And we will have a situational writing[formal letter] tmr so be prepared... :D And MK gave us de notes for writing the formal letter dere was a lot of mistakes in de notes so wen had to edit and add sum other things... Here comes de fun part... Wen FQ asked MK to "go up"[as in move the paper up] MK wanted to climb the chair,wen FQ said "put the paper up" MK put the paper above his head.Finally Jonathan said "move de paper down" den it was correct...Jonathan said "move it up and down",den MK said "how abt i move U up and down".Den MK carried Jonathan den put him bk down [like twice].Den Jonathan was like so happy and doing the "peace" sign...Dats abt it!!

[Duh!] Mdm Karmalia did not come so,the first SS lesson a teacher came in to relief us and the second period...Mdm Thng was suppose to relief but MK took away her period and he showed us our work...We were suppose to write who we wanna vote for as anythin like eg. head prefect,monitor/monitress etc. And we were suppose to draw our frens pic but sum did not draw....So, most of the boys drew and it looks funny so,the whole class was laughing like crazy...Most of dem were stick man or juz heads..ZzZzZ...Dats abt it!!

HIe... Today, everyone was ready with their props and shirts n wateva. But MK told us that he did not have the intention of letting us act and other classes were not doing it too. Yar hie... WE ARE BACK INTO single files. Everyone was like... duno where to sit. They told us to sit where our books were found. National Day Celebration

Hie! So tired... haha. Today we celebrated our National Day rite?... YESH!! Hahas. It was a performance from 9-10. But we have to reach there by 7.15[as per normal]. Hie!!! Today was or trip to SCI CENTRE to learn abt the bascis of DNA[ deoxy-ribo-nucleic-acid] hmm... We learnt alot of things abt DNA. We did an experiment. [ extracting the DNS of a bateria out]. Very intresting. We wore SCIENTIST COATS AND GLOVES! OMG!!! We even saw how the DNA of the bateria was formed. We had also made a structure of a DNA. A n T C n G (is paring of our DNA) Aww.. it was tuff as we have to conect ice-cream sticks to rubber tubes. (the rubber tube waqs like ... PLASTIC LOR) SO HARD! Then we had some time left and we went to the MC DONALDS. oooo....... NICE:D

Hey guys....2day we kinda saw the eclipse ard 8-9 a.m. And while it was dark MK asked 5 boys to read out a love poetry to the class with expression and actions den they were like "Huh?!" and the audience [the rest of the class] was like laughing as MK showed the boys how to do... XP The boys are Luke,Ryan,Danniel,Danny & Sze Kye... The one with most emotion is Sze Kye and Luke,the others like normal like dat....During silent reading MK took some of our individual pic and we were like "My face not nice eh..." Hie ppl! Today hmm... ALOT OF THINGS happened. Today is RHD. Recess was extended to 45 mins. Mdm naima was kinda happy and said "Good. Some of ur the time with me can also extend." ...The canteen has alot of food sample. Satay... There is also games. It was a nice experience. In class, MK punished sum boys who refused to stop talking. :x The rest of the lessons were as per normal.

Our supplemenrty has resumed and... we watched a movie today. Mk said at 3.15 we wil stop then class noisy so becom 3.10. At 3.10 SHARP the movie paused by itself...

Hi!!! So tired... Yesterday was our trip to ndp. ANW, WE WERE THE LAST LAST LAST CLASS ZTO GO BACK! Yeah nothing in the world is fair :P. The fire works were nice. Blah... 2day we finally saw our P.E. teacher!![Ms Tay] She is quite fierce and 2day she tought us how to do normal throws like the chest pass,bounce pass and overhead throw... Quite fun and she told us some rules in her lesson...Followed by our MT lessons and all the way is MK's lesson....In MK's lesson we did a sci quiz,1 question for 1 group...And MK showed us a video on the genes and DNA and watever else...MK oso showed the class the class blog...And wen the music came out MK muted it...[I dun knoe why]And i tink i heard Shanice asking MK to play the song...[Hehe...]

late post.

Hey guys! Sry for having the late post. School start liao so need to do work! So ... Let me start.

Mk and our class have disscused abt the national parade thing. So... He asked the class if we all have a red shirt each. Hopefully all of us have. After that, class was per normal. But we still did not see our PE teacher! Hope she is a friendly one. We played captain's ball. It was a nice game. We worked as a team. After that, we had our art lesson. We were told to decorate our art folio. But the class was kind of noisy so we were punished. ABT 15mins I think. Them mk came to the room where we had ur art lesson. As little punk gal said, the girls were realeased out 1st. Then the boys. THE GALS continued our lesson n when the boys are back, they were told to stand outside the class. Actually all of us did talk. THe boys were complaining unfair. So Mk asked the boys to send sumone to represent the boys to explain. Danny said,"I go ok?" (haha) I think thats abt it .

2day we were a bit noisy.....And we went through the half of the adjectives worksheet[b4 and after recess] which was kinda funny and still noisy.....2day we also did our 1st P.E. for term 3 with a different teacher....We played captain's ball,we were divided into groups... dryburgh vs. lee+richardson[not enough ppl] and atherton vs. sirkett.So as usual we had a 1hr late recess again....

Short post

Yep its a short post....2day we had our 1st science lesson in term 3.He returned as a sci worksheet and also go through...So after dat MK taught us some english stuff...Its like he wrote some lines with adjectives with nouns and he ask Dion,Jonathan & Ryan underline the noun with the green marker and the adjective with purple marker....He also gavge us this adjectives "chart".It has diff. columns to be filled in....And 3 teachers came in to "observe" us.Btw,Able had to use a mask after the 2nd temperature taking...

Nothing really happened

Hi. Yup this will be a short post. No time to post much. But nothing much happened today. Lessons were as usual. Just as lidya said, We had our recess 1hour later then usual. Hmm... Then we were suppose to do team work in class. 1st time doing team work with our new group members. We were all very coperative rite? YESH!!! We are good pupils. Mk you laughing? Umm... 2nd day of skol?We started our day taking the temperature as usual....Anyways 2day not much happened except have our recess late by 1 hr!!!We had our recess at 10.25a.m. so our maths lesson was moved up to before recess....And we did some work on the story "Billy Beast".1 of them is actually our "home" pass."Home" pass as in if u finish doing it den u hand up den u can go home.... So its like, Finish-Hand Up-Bye-bye.....So dats how we ended our day at skol....

First day of school!

Hello :D Yep I am very happy. So 1st day of term 3 happy? For normal Chinese, we had a new teacher, Mr Pan. And we also had a new P.E. teacher, Mdm Tay. When we 1st stepped in to the class, everything was per normal. Slient reading ... Then we were told to take our temperature. After that, we had our devotion. Actually we were suppose to have assembly but because of the H1N1, our assembly and CCAs were canceled. For thatt time being, we had our lesson on "H1N1". Our classsmate, Mr steven Gooi, has injured his leg. So as lidya said, Dion, Sye kye and Lucas voluntered to help him to buy his food for recess. After that, we had an activity called "A toast for change" organise by MK. He brought 2 very large bottles of fruit juice. (Apple with cranberries mixed) Then He gave us cups. And then he poured the juice into pur cups. And then.... we said ..... CHEERS! Then we drink our "tiger beer" haha Just joking :D fruit juice. I think thats all for today. So BB! REMEMBER drink more water and have more rest. Take care!

1st day of school!!

Wow!Its oredi the 1st day of school....Haiz..... Anyways,2day mk said dat our teachers have changed and its our P.E. teacher!!Mdm Tay will be replacing our old P.E. teacher.... And I bet the whole class is happy abt it... :D[Haha...] There was no CCA dat morning and we studied H1N1 instead of CCA..... And Fang Qiang a.k.a. Steven got his leg injured and 3 pupils,Lucas,Dion & Sze Kye voluntered to help Fang Qiang during recess.Lucas is in-charge on Mondays and Thursdays,Dion is in-charge on Tuesdays and Fridays & Sze Kye is in charge on Wednesdays.....After recess we had a "Toast 4 Change".Change as in wat we wanna change in the new term like eg. attitude,character etc. So mk brought apple cranberry 4 us to drink.And i tink Sze Kye was the first one to finish.... :D

Start of Term 3

Hello children,

The holidays are coming to an end.
I hope that you had a good and rested break.
I didn't.

Term 3 is going to be a fast paced and tough term. It is fast paced because of the numerous holidays and celebrations. Having said this, I seriously do hope that all of you would come back to school with a mind to concentrate and work. Half of the year is over and I think you would have adapted to the life of a P5 pupil. When it is time to study, let's study; when it is time to play, let's play!

Due to the recent H1N1 flu virus, I do hope that all of you are still in the pink of health. Let us also be responsible. If you are not feeling well, visit a doctor and stay at home. Drink lots of water and do stay healthy.

Things to bring:

1. Thermometer (Need to take your temperature 2-3 times a day)
2. Travel declaration form (E-mailed to your parents)
3. 5B textbook and workbook for Math
4. Essential text for English
5. Cycles textbook and workbook for Science

The 2nd supplementry

Hello ppl out there! Whats up? Nothing? Ok then... lets talk about what happened today. Today we had our supplemenrty (half) at the computer lap. (actually) So we went up to the computer lap... Alot of the computers was not functioning well so have to change our seating and Miss Li have to explain so on and so forth... " Go to ....." She said. So we wasted quit alot of time so Miss Li let us have our whole supplementry at the computer lap. We practiced our math 5A. Some were so called "fooling around'. Some were like so called "playing". Some were seriously serious. <-- Is ture! After supplementry some of us saw MK at the concourse. We were like "calling" him. It is funny actually. Later we wanted him to drive us home, play soccer, treat us dinner and play catching with us but he gave excuses... At last I think he cannot take it so he walked out of the sch till the bus stop with us then we all go home. so i think lets call it a day here. BB

Holiday supplementry.(math)

Hello ppl! Feeling bored? Happy? Sad? Now is school holidays nothing to do right? During school days, you ppl will complain tired... busy... Now no school you ppl will complain bored... Have you started to miss your friends? For me, yes. I rather have school... By the way, did you enjoyed the math supplementry or was it a tortue to you? Haha... It was 70% boring(as the teacher has her way of teaching style) And 30% not boring. (ok la learn some new things). She started off telling us a story. The moral: If you are willing to work hard, you will see the results. Followed by...telling us what worksheets to bring on the next lesson... Lastly and finally she started teaching. We did not have our lunch break so she wanted to end earlier. But eventually, she did not... we ended leaving on time. Not so bad after all. I think having supplementry is 100% not good for pupils... But to some is 51% good as then can learn new things and see their friends. 49% nt good cus cannot play and must study... Ok I think I should end here. Later u all say i naggy... BB!

Voting and using our hands!

Today we were told to go to the hall to vote for heads leaders. There was our classmate, Justin in it. Justin, way to go! It took quite ALOT OF TIME!!! So at the end... ONLY 1 PERIOD OF P.E.!!! we played captain ball (gals) and soccer ball (guys). When ever we had enjoyable time, its always short. ~time flies... ... ... After that as normal we had mother tongue lessons followed by using our hands!
we had to sapperate into groups and do:
1 arrange class furnitures
2 clean tables
3 clean chairs
4 clean windows and board
5 cover the board with black papers
6 organise and dump last but not least,
7 sweep!

Some were making joke out of themselves, playing and some were doing work seriously. Tables were filled with soap . Don't know why. all the tables were all over the place.<-- My group. We were trying to firgure out a seating arrangement. BUT THERE WAS AN SHOCKING SCEEN THAT I SAW!!! THE FLOOR AT THE BACK OF THE CLASS WAS NOT ONLY WET BUT ALSO FILLED WITH SOAP. So MK has to go and clear uo some parts of the BIG mess and those who are in charged of mopping the floor will clear up the small mess. We had a enjoyable BUT TIRING DAY!!!

Wo hoo!!!!

Well, 2day is the last day of semester 1 b4 the June holidays.And 2day we needed to clean our class coz its the last day.And we did dat on the last 2 periods.While cleaning up our class was chaotic and i tink our class should be quite clean...While MK was talking to some of the students at the front of the class the ppl at the back of the class was becoming more and more crazy.After talking to some of the students MK looked up and saw dat at the back of the class there was a lot of soap. [OMG!!] And even the tables had soap on top of them, and our class was like very soapy ecpecially the back of the class.MK saw sumthin on top of one of the cupboards and he said it was a giant spider...... He actually jumped to see wat was up there and finally he found out that it was actually juz a piece of cloth...[zzzzzzz]And wen it was time to go home he said dat those who want to stay and help can stay and those who dun wan can take our bags and go home.I dunnoe who stayed back but i knoe Chew Hui did.

Sad...

Today we had LIT programme. It was a fun programme. We were suppose to put up a play today. It was more of a comedy loor... It was kinda of funny although it was suppose to be sad. We had lots of fun. We were given prizes and ceficticat. There was also porizes given to the best actor or actress and the best group! We hope that there will be another similar programme for us!

And btw, during math lesson, a cockroach flied into our classroom! Mdm naima actually killed it... super Woman to the rescue!

2day we did our performance on Narnia and different groups did different scenes.We performed according to our diff. scenes and we stared like this:
Group 7 & 5 =Lucy meets Mr. Tumnus
Group 1 =Edmund meets The White Witch
Group 2 =The children meets Father Christmas
Group 3 =Aslan dies
Group 4 =Resurrection of Aslan
Group 6 =Battle scene
The best actress was Rachel cuz she plays the White Witch in the battle scene.And group 7 won best acting cuz Miss Annie said that we put in a lot of effort to do it.And after all that we were eventually late for chapel.[haha]
And during maths lesson Mdm Naemah killed a cockroach.[HAHA]

OMG!!!

2day we did a data logger thing, and there was one experiment which MK need to do cuz its sumthing related to beetles.And actualy we were suppose to do it but the teachers said that we could not do it so MK had to do it.And one if the rules were not to shake the bottle containing the beetle and MK actually shook it. Anyways after that we continued with our experiment and we lined up outside once we finished.
So dats all about 2day...

Oh what a day...

Hey guys! Today we had alot of investaging happening in our class... And it was not really a good day....
We had nafa test today... sit-ups, pull up, long jump, sit and reach and shuttle run. by the way, I saw MK jumping(long jump). Verry funny but very far... After that, some of the chinese pupils were suppose to help our chinese teacherto sort out stuffs. After a hour, MK cme in to our class. We all talk and joke around in the presence of the chinese teacher but she didn"t really mind although it wad rude... After that, we walked out of the classroom together with MK. Then we followed him to the bus bay. We wanted him to take us home but he say cannot. We all begged him... At last, we followed him to his car and we were laughing on our way dar~~~ It was a really funny joke. So now do you agree with me that today is what a day?

Hey! You people feeling strange? Yes MK is not here today... class was as normal...meaning normal as other classes... boring.... How we wish if MK was here to have lessons with us! It'll sure be fun, exciting and never bored!

Wat happens when MK never come...

Eventually 2day MK did not come so another teacher,Miss Lai,came as our relief teacher.So,we did not realli do anything 2day except talking.[obviously]And we did assembly on the self discipline worksheet and ALMOST half of the class did not bring it. [MK if ur reading this dun be dissapointed]After the assembly we went to the hall and Mr Chua talked about "Sex and the Law" [gross] and we were like so ewww.... Wen we saw the title we all knew that it was gonna be disgusting.... :p

We played a game with Mdm Lim but I'm not sure wat the game is called..... Anyways,the game was to form as many words as u can using "philanthropist".And if ur finished u are suppose to hand it up by 1.30.

Ok thats enough about the game let's talk about music lesson... 2day during music lesson we watched a part of the movie called "The Drumline".Mr Joshua brought it and he told us that it was about $6+ for vcd and $12+ for dvd.[i tink] It was quite an interesting show the part that we watched...

Let's talk about in MK's class....
We got our sci papers back and i hope u guys are happy with ur marks....
Anyways,after the sci paper we did an analysis on the sci paper it was easy [we juz had to stand or sit] but there was one that we needed to calculate alot so that took most of our time up...Thats all for 2day

Hello ppl out there! yeah i know i have not been posting recently. By the way, Today we played the two games as said. we enjoyed ourself, we played, laughed, joked and qurraled... But still, we;ve learnt how to work together as a class as a group and with ur team members. Even though we didnt agree with pur team members at first, we still got to our decision.

As for ...

Hot seating, we learnt to put ourselves into ppls shoes. Its really funnny there was ppl shouting and laughing. as for we is who, refer to the older post that lidya posted. MK which is mr khoo

Jeopardy, we gt 10,20,30,40 and 50 marks qns, as for the joker that lidya mentioned, you can use it and if you answered the qns correctly, it will double your points but if you dun, -point!!! Exciting enough?

Hot Seating & Jeopardy!!

We played the game hot seating and jeopardy.And we played hot seating first then jeopardy.The hot seating game was very funny and there were a lot of boys and only 1 girl.The characters are...

Old Man=Raymond
That is the roles and it was a very funny show and btw,Mr Khoo [MK] was the host.

That's enough about hot seating let's talk about jeopardy....
The game jeopardy was quite a hard game to play and some groups had some arguments about whether to play joker or not and one of them was Justine's group [as far as i knoe].The highest marks was 70 and the winners were two groups,group 3 and 7.[i tink]It was a tie.

Not so good reading....

Today we watched the second part of Narnia and we finished it during recess.Some of us left and some of us continued watching till the end.And today we also read the story of Billy Beast and Beauty and the Beast.MK asked the girls and the boys to read the sentence(s) in the quotation marks while he is the narrator.[The boys read the boys part and the girls read the girls part] When it was the boys turn to read they were loud but they were not reading together but when it comes to the girls part,we were soft but we read together.Then in the end the boys were the one who read the girls part.Then MK said that the boys need to go to the doctor to check whether they are boys or girls and the girls need the check where our voices have went....[cuz we were very soft]. And in the end MK read all of it[boys,GIRLS and narrator].

And tmr we are going to play "Hot Seating" and sumthing else which i knoe but i dun knoe how to spell. =]

We watched The Chronicles of Narnia today. Mrs Tan, from 5C,  lent us the vcd. For those who have not watched it, today was the perfect time to watch it. When we used the school's computer to play, the movie lagged, so we changed to mk's lap top and all went well.It was quite slow when we used the school's com but when we used mk com nth went wrong..... We only got to watch disc 1 cuz there was not enough time. We hope to watch disc 2 tmr...

Learning Journey!!

A few of us from 5F and 5B went on a learning journey! It was a fun experience to go there and there was on very shocking incident....
We were sitting on a mat at the Esplande Park when suddenly a bird dropping [POOP] fell rite in front of Siti, Justine, Sabrina and me. Then we were like so "ewwww" cuz its so 'fresh'. After that we did a dramatization to our story - Badang.The roles are...

SA1 is over!

Hello 5 Faith,

SA1 is finally over and we can all catch a breather! Your report books and your results will be coming soon... Well, that which is over is over. We must now look to that which lies ahead of us. If we have stumbled and faltered, fret not, because the race is not over. When we fall, we must pick ourselves up and carry on. We only fail when we refuse to learn and pick up from our mistakes.

As the holidays are approaching, here are some things that you may want to give thought about:

1. What are some of my strengths this semester? (academic? character? ...)
2. What are some areas which I can improve in?
3. How can I improve in those areas?

By now, you would have realised that the pace and the load is very different from P4. If that has not sunk into you, you must either be not doing your assignments or just being plain ignorant about it and it is time to shake and wake yourself up. 

On a final note, your class motto is "a class of difference". You can now choose to be different in a good way or different in a bad way. The choice is yours.....

Hey gals/ guys. Soory the blogskin gt pink i'll try to find another one. Today MK ask we all to do props for drama but end up in a mess! Haha are you wondering who I am refering to? Aiyah! MK today bought his guitar to class and wanted to play but then he say he is not a clown... (MK: Yeaah you are nt a clown but still can play song for us what...) WE MISSED IT!!!! OH by the way, there is not enough time for us the clear up the mess we made so there were pizza hut box on the floor... bottles.... papers.....Aiyah alot rubbish lah.....Although we did not mange to get "well ckept class" award last month, we can work harder and get the rest!

Jinkang made a sword out of the pizza hut box. MK gave my group their sword but ened up with Jinkang becuz he wanted it back but it is is .........OKOK I SAY. in pieces...... MK say my group destroyer. HAHA.

Tomorrow we gonna watch NARNIA1. How is it going to be? Lets wait and see...
